My Favorite Greenville Restaurant for Date Night

Last week, Dallas and I finally got to go on a date! Because of the move and how busy we have been between our work and school, I couldn’t tell you the last time that we got to go out together, just me and him. We have deemed Friday’s for our date nights now and I couldn’t be more excited!

We tried a new Italian place downtown called Jianna last week. I’m a sucker for some good Italian food so I had been wanting to try this place since it opened!

After we got a balcony seat that overlooked downtown Greenville, Dallas ordered the char-grilled octopus as an appetizer (a little out of my comfort zone, but it was still tasty) and of course I stuck with my usual at an Italian place, grilled ciabatta bread and olive oil (amazing!) and a glass of Rosé. We both ended up with pasta as our main dishes and we were so happy we did! I asked them to make a shrimp Alfredo dish even though it’s really not on their menu, and they didn’t hesitate! Dallas had a special seafood pasta that was on the menu that night and it included scallops! At Jianna, they make the pasta in house, daily, and I could taste this with every bite of the pasta I had. It tasted so fresh paired with grilled shrimp and Alfredo sauce. As we enjoyed dinner a storm decided to roll in and we had finished right it time to run into the Lulu Lemon that is underneath the restaurant. We couldn’t leave without buying a few things, Lulu Lemon is our weakness!

We definitely will be going back to Jianna, and will be bringing family and friends with us. It’s irresistible charm and amazing food is hard to resist!

Tonight, I think it’s going to be a sushi date! I will continue to highlight my favorite places in the Greenville area to eat as we have more date nights so get ready (:
